licence is sorted, hf/mf licencing is now free (along with vhf, radar and the rest of em) if you do it online via the ofcom website
or did you mean the operators ticket? did the LRC what feels like centuries ago (pre GDMSS), so have been thinking about redoing it to see whats new!

you have to keep the official secrets act etc..
exam no hard ,as long as you can switch it on, put it on the distress band 2182.
you get your pic in a wee book like your passport,,
