RNLB Betty Huntbatch 14-37 out and about in Victoria Dock, Hartlepool, North East England during the Tall ships Race 2010 Event - photographed 8th August 2010.
An all-Weather Trent Class Lifeboat,has a top speed of 25 knots and carries a crew of 6/7. Designed to lie afloat at deep water moorings or at berth the sheerline sweeps down for ease of survivor recovery and the hull is of a 'hard chine' design.
Trent class lifeboat 14-37 "Betty Huntbatch" was placed on Hartlepool Station at the end of September 2004.
