Dunbar harbour

Some interesting views of Dunbar Ally, a place that I like to call into on the way down the A1 - what sort of age is this picture, any idea?

    Regards

    Steve E.
No idea Steve, looks like 40s-50s kinda age to me.

That pic is a gem of the first order Ally (I'm maybe just a wee tad biased being a Dunbar man though!)would say it's 1920s or possibly 30s going by the rig on some of the boats, they look like they're still using the sail.I couldnae say for definate, but the furthest away boat could very well be my Grandfather's yawl the "Jane and William" built just after the First War...superb old photo anyway ???
Aye Ronnie it does look earlier to me - when did the watch hut go?

    Regards

Couldn't tell you exactly Steve,I think it was sometime in the late 60s/early 70s but I'm open to correction on that one.(found out later on it was in the 80s)
Glad you like it Ronnie  ???
