Fennica - All decked Out

A Finnish ice breaker with a summer job for Subsea 7. She and her sister were regular Subsea 7 summer charters for a while, plus their little sister Botnica. She was in Peterhead being fitted out with six ROVs - the wiring-up was phenominal, hence the Rubic's cube I left on the painted deck.

    Unusual painting Rob but enjoyable non the less - bet there aren't many paintings from this angle about  ???

    Thanks for that and the other comments, I remember being really absorbed by this one and senting deck by deck progress photos to subsea. The Subsea 7 'stickers' were added last of all - after a little discussion back and forth. I've always wondered if the crane opperator went to check if there really was a sticker on his equipment.

    By the way, I know what you mean about ship-spotter, but then "birds of a feather". Ducks probably.
