De Gallant

De Gallant in Victoria Dock, Hartlepool, North East England on 8th August 2010 for the Tall Ships Race 2010. Former Fishing Vessel - Herring Boat

Built in 1916 as the Herring Fishing Logger Margaret Jannetje as a true sailing vessel without an engine. An engine was installed in 1926 when she was Danish owned and named Gertrud. Converted to a Sailing Ship in 1987.
