Another elegant lady from the 1930s. This one held the Blue Riband for Pacific crossings, hence the hull band being blue rather than Canadian Pacific's usual green. She clocked up exceptional mileage as a troopship in WWII. Became Empress Of Scotland when Japan entered the war.

Thanks Steve, I didn't know much about this one till the client came along. He wanted her seen as 'Japan', as she was during his father's six years aboard her. To my eye, that's when she looked her best.

Aye Rob, just been reading about her on http://www.angelfire.com/pe2/pjs1/ - must have been 'embarrassing' to have her as Princess of Japan, bit like the change to German Shepherd dogs to Alsations during WW2
