There's a line of doggerel about Sir Humphrey Davy I half remembered, but thanks to the wonders of Google here it is in full...

Sorry, it's the only 'Sodium'-related thought that came to mind. Sodium was an ICI coaster in the Irish sea, a regular in Fleetwood.
