It doesnae look a strange wheelhouse to me,at least there's a wee bit of shape about it.In fact.I think it goes quite well with the boat's lines.(that's only my opinion mind!)
Seems to me Ronnie that it makes sense, you could get a bit of a lee in the corner standing outside between fleets of gear when there's a good breeze,is He stood wi his shoulders out the sunroof? cobles are very good at chucking water over their shoulders  when it's blowing,  and by the way I thought you must have them shackles moused wi summat!!!
hi ronnie i think we have spoke before, the silver chord was bought from your father by mine and i beleve that the silver chord replaced this coble as my father wanted to start trawling and has been ever since he is still guted that he decomisioned her!

Yes Andrew,I can imagine he would be.The Silver Chord was like a lot of other fine boats that got the chop...far too good to destroy, she had many years left in her, shame to see her going that way but that's life.Must have been somewhere around '94 when my old man sold her, doesn't seem like 18 years ago, time sure flies in right enough.I take it your father is still keeping well?
yes your right we chopped up the katie suzanne as well she was only 11 years old when she went i thought he was going to cry well we both nearly did! yeah hes keeping well hes got the achieve hl 257 now sister ship to katie suzanne been fishing single handed alot though because i left when the fishing got to its worst on our coast after the big invasion the other year im now working on tugs and big windfarm support boats but its not all its craked upto be wold much rather be back at the fishing!!
