ex- BM.217 if i remember right. think she was used as pleasure boat
A typical ex-Le Guilvenec, Brittany trawler. There were hundreds down here in the seventies & eighties. They were normally around 48ft long with Baudouin engines of between 100hp (DK4) & 160hp (DNK6) & Bopp winches, built of oak on oak & with cast iron propellors. Slightly better looking boats with heavily flared bows & nicer wheelhouses came from further around the Brittany coast towards the Atlantic, these tended to have slightly more powerful Poyaud engines instead of Baudouin
This one was BM 217 Dave & is still around, now an angling boat in Ramsgate.

Interesting to read that she was French built.
