CLANSMAN and cottage

This picture was taken on the evening of Tuesday 13th April 2010, as the 'Clansman' passed Milton, Caolas, Tiree, on her afternoon run from Oban.  The weather was ideal.  I enjoy placing the car-ferries in their Hebridean contexts.  Life in Tiree, as in other islands, depends to a very large extent on these ships.  They keep the home fires burning!  No 'Clansman' - no cottage!
