After being built at Eyemouth boat yard Heroine first fished out of Stornoway, followed by Ayr and Troon, and she finished off her working life out of Cork in Ireland. She fished in the Atlantic for cod, white fish, plaice and black sole and was involved in a European Commission trial, pair trawling for tuna in the Bay of Biscay.
