what date do you think this was taken ally
No idea Ewan, there's no postmark on this one i'm affraid.
probably mid to late 70s
Def. the 1960.s.,eres nae big Kelvin Hughs n' Marconi radar antennae a showing.
pre 1966 a wee bit, after 66 boats all had radar in,,mostly kelvin hughes type 17. with a 4 or 6ft. scanner.
gave a garish orange picture that disapeared efter the sweep went roond, no like the permanent pictur nowadays..

outside varnished ringer is sandy munros fair morn ba54 ant ned tarrys aliped 8 ba155 not sure seiner inside could be excelsior
ALIPED VIII LAUNCHED 1961
Between the orange courlene nets and the lack of radar I would go for 1963-66...no be far away at that.Did John James in Port Seton no get the Fair Morn about 1967?
Ronnie i would say ur bang on JJ got the Fair Morn about then he sold the Thorntree to a bloke called Jack Brennan who fished her from sheilds
