this is a good pic , whats the varnished boat with no numbers
The Western Isles
the varnished one is the ferry to knoydart to the FORGE the remote pub that you either go by boat to or hike about 14/15 miles theres no road to it,
she used to have 2 kelvins in her but i think it,s 2 volvo,s now,,

She came to Mallaig 1960 or there abouts almost a new boat, there were two of them lying at Faslane. I think they were built down Devon the other one was smaller, MFV's , The late Brucie Watt a true gentleman brought her to Mallaig .
The green and the blue boats in the photo are the Buckie prawners Moray Gem and Scotia.
