Dad took this photo in the sound of Isla about 1965-66
he said the boat was green and her name was green something sorry about the photo quality it was enlarged alot

    looks like a Forbes build going by the wheel house
    I might be wrong but I think it might be called Castle Bay.

    Aye Robert john would have been a great uncle of mine and its my grandda Howard forsythe that had the castle dawn, Iíve some good pictures of the castle dawn and the other boats il have to get them uploaded on here

    Id have been to young to know Robert John but my granda tells me all the old yarns about him and the Castle Bay she must have been a tough ole ship
    Which one did Frank McAlinden have mid 60's??

    this was franks boat when she was built new he had her until he got his first purser
    correct  samuel frank was   first skipper of castelbay robert john known as rivers was skipper of castlerock untill frank got first quo vadis then rivers went skipper of castlebay
