Time and Tide wait for no man on April Fools Day in Oban

Time and Tide wait for no man on April Fools Day in Oban

Was it the harbour master or the fishery officer that tied this head rope on the slip at low tide? Did the skipper order him to remove his boots and wade in up to the balls in the freezing cold water?

Who knows?

The best laugh about it all was when he came back aboard the boat, he hung his jeans up to dry but never noticed his wellies were directly below the jeans, drip drip drip. When he got up to shoot the next morning, put one foot into the first boot and it was absolutely soaking wet!
At least it kept the floor dry!
