Planking is a long tedious job and for some respite, I started work on the Wheelhouse/galley and the goalposts. The former is constructed from 1.5mm styrene sheet and the goalposts/ladder frame from brass. I opted for brass as apart from strength, it would be a good electrical return for the deck lights so reducing the amount of wires from the three light units.
