Wave Crest seen here outbound from the Royal Quays Marina, Port of Tyne (North East England) on 4th November 2007.
From what I can understand she is now used as a 'day trip' rod fishing boat but she certainly has some strange looking gear on her. Don't suppose anyone has any further details on her?
former irish trawler wavecrest D519 off no400834. this is the one that put irish skipper kevin mchugh of atlantic dawn fame on his way.
Thanks for confirming her 'history' - still to find out exactly what she trades as now, a bit of 'jack of all trades' by the looks of it.

not so much angling charter, although it has been known. Believe she's primarily a dive boat, charters to the local wrecks and occasionally used in dive salvage operations
Hi Mark
Thanks for that information
Always a little frustrating when you see vessels passing and don't know what they do!
