Old postcard of Girvan.
Annabelle BA115 looks like the Tudor Rose lying ahead of him & maybe the Seafarer?
Awee bit afore ma time George. Haven't a clue who BA 94 is.. Perhaps one of Didrum's . Pretty sure it's Tudor Rose with a wee scalloper inside her Margaret Stephen? Maybe Margaret Stephen ahead of T/R..
Thinking it was a Fairlie stern up in Davidson's berth.. Seafarer? mebbe too bulky in quarter for her.. Could it be Wattie Shields' Integrity, know she wasnae Fairlie.. Thought about Golden Hind too.. Odds are it would be a kelvin powered boat???? too many maybes I'm afraid, tho I do see Mcquiston's Queer fella coble ootside Winkie.... And the Round the bay and Ailsa Craig trippers up the harbour.

i used to park up all night at girvan in the 1970s when i was driving hgv 1 lorrys mabee twice aweek any one know if the swimming baths are still there great little place good pubs
swimming baths closed last year jim due to south ayrshire council at their best ,
cheers mate sorry to here that had some good times there another good place gone by the way
all is not lost , the council are considering using the pools for holding tanks for all the crabs and lobsters which will be caught along the ayrshire coast this summer
Aye your good Eddie ,words no long in spreading.
Kinna looks like the Golden Hind Howard not sure if she would be painted black at that time?
Could BA94 be the Count's (Marion??). cannae mind him being at the ringing tho. Mind him running the trippers oot tae the Craig, late 50's/early 60's but it's 50 year on & memory no as it should be.
the only crabs that,l be in the pool will be in a vivier lorry in the new carpark where the baths once were. but alls no lost u could still hae a swim in the pot holes in the auld carpark in fact u could hae a 2 oor tow in them
