I wouldnt bet on that one ffarquar, the greens are already making noises about the damage the creels and the anchors, rope ect are doing to the seabed and the risk to sealife getting tangled up in it.Who will be left for them to target once theyve helped get rid of the trawlers.

6 feet of dhan above the water. Tell ow the local boys where ur at and give them accurate readings.
Thats wit we do anyway but to be honest if u dont want ur gear towed away dont shoot in the towin lanes. ???
Why isn't every single handed WAFI in court for the same thing? I've never understood how they get away with it

Failing to keep a proper lookout that is not towing pots away

Well I went single handed for years Paul and now I'm WA...but I hope I'm never an FI !!....I know what you mean though, one man(or woman) on any size of boat isnae fully crewed and certainly isnae good for safe watchkeeping, but if ye stuck every one man bander in front of the beak the courts wouldnae cope ;)Mind you,in defence of the OMBs,there's far mair collisions and accidents wi' a full crew aboard than ever there is wi' one man on his jack jones.
