that foto has been taken in front of the hoose we used to live in when i was  young loon up on top of the hill lookin doon on the harbour.thats the veiw we used to get from the upstairs bedroom window.ats the first thing i did every mornin up to the window to see what boats were in

Pretty much how it looked when I arrived there in 1992. I remember the old fishmarket and the tight squeeze getting shots laid out. My favorite memory of that market was John Garioch of the LK Sunbeam landing into that market. I stood  monitoring all this Haddock being put into the market on pallets, at least 20 pallets, but when I went into the market to count them when they had finished landing, there were 2 pallets of Haddies. Young Tuddie was taking the pallets in one door of the market, out another and loading the haddies straight onto a Steven's lorry.

I didn't get caught with that one twice! I met John up in Shetland one time a few years later, and he was suitably embarrassed at being so blatant.  By that time I could see the humour in it  

that was just a 1 of a few  tricks tuddy had up his sleeve
