BOATS AT THE PROTEST

That takes me back late 80,s

Polish up yer campaign medals lads! Marches,protests,blockades(we got orders fae the higher echelons tae blockade the South Pier during the one in the late 70s in case anybody tried landing there,which we did...the words "a chocolate fireguard" and "as much feckin' use as" spring tae mind on that yin! Did any of that stuff really make a jot of difference tae the greater scheme of things or help the industry in any way?...sorry if I sound like a defeatist,but the answer is "did it buggery"...we could all have saved ourselves a lot of time,trouble,diesel,money and shoe leather....the craic at the time was good though,so it wasnae all bad
