    Ye have to raise yer hat to Mr.Stevenson and his workers for their efforts there,it was some undertaking right enough.A fitting monument to one man's skill and determination.

    Ronnie every time we are at the Bell it amazes me they could build it so long ago with the tools they had and take it from me there is no many bonnie days out there.

    When ye read about their exploits Bryan,I think they had some gey close calls with the weather and the tide before they got a few courses laid.Hardy men right enough.

    ti think that  a daft wee bunch o public schoolboys  who probly think  the bell rock is somthin yi stick in yir gob and sook >:( >:( same incompatent  spungers is dismantling the coastguard and o that local knowledge .. >:(  am gutted
