been there done that 
I know of a guy who (for some stupid reason) had a hook in his trouser pocket when he was salmon fishing, and he put his hand into his pocket and the hook went into it and he couldn't get his hand out again, had to go the hopsital to get the hook removed. All I can say is ~ I think he was very fortunate that the hook went into his hand...
