Looked at flagstaffs for my wee yottie..30 odd quid?..bugger that.Got a brush handle,glued on a knob off one of the wife's pans,few coats of varnish a cleat and some nylon cord...proper job.(wife's using a hand brush tae sweep the flair now and burning her fingers when she gauns tae test the tatties,but somebody has tae suffer for ma art !!)

`how do`bloody yottie-your hardly gonna be slurping pimms at cowes anyway-admit it-it`s another fishing boat you need-then nobody would pay any heed to the handle of the deckbrush being swiped to dip the diesel tanks, to stick a gps aeriel on or to lengthen the roller for putting on the antifoul-you just can`t liberate yer wifes sweeping brush if yer a true yottie-but you can steal ANYTHING from the house thats not nailed down for your fishing boat-that`s fair enough!

as i said before-i`m a `realist`-i just know the kind of him!-seen it all before fishermen and yats-they all lack the `finnesse`for yella wellys-also their language is usually to colourful for most marinas-they will favour fishing harbours anyway and will get huffed when the fishermen think he`s `justanotherbloodyyottie`! and he`ll say iwasbloodyfishingwhenyouwereinshorttroosersyaweeshite!-don`t deny it :whistle: :whistle:

Aye Frankie boy,ye've got me sussed out.As was said before "you can put lipstick on a pig but it's still a pig" !! My wee yottie is nae different to a fishing boat according to my better half..still stinks of diesel oil and sour bilges...what the hell was she expecting,the scent of roses
