    Was in Gourdon  ME in the late 70s i think she was rammed at Mallaig in the early 80s by the ex Arbroath Pathfinder and then was scrapped.
    You are right some shithead distroyed a perfectly good boat.

    It was the young lad aboard the Pathfinder with to much drink it was a shame as John and his brothers put a lot of work doing up the Arctic Star.
    Yes that is Charlie standing on the wall along side the Minnie Dan mcGilvary & rOBERT CONNEL,
    Arctic Star did'nt need much doing to her when she left ma/aig she had a new W/HOUSE, ENGINE, WINCH, Hull  was first class new keel 1966, a boat that you could make a good living with. a good old lady that one.
    sandy and nan reids fish shop on the left on the pier all the the fish was gutted in the back shop and sold in the front  shop in display cabinets wonderful couple to work for and also neighoubers
