    Great pic of the May...wish I'd had it for the book! Looks like the Anne Marie astern withe the lower part of her wheelhouse painted and top part still varnished.Eyesight and knowledge not up to spotting the others along the quay.
    Green one looks like the Evelyn.

    May was first boat I was out in for night at ringing, neighbouring Anne Marie, think Evelyn was being re-engined or re-wheelhoused, used to ly at mooring front of Duncy's at Duncarroch
    ann marie looking well there better with old wheelhouse .thats when we use to go out wi doods and hector as boys some ploys better education than u wid get at gordonston in all subjects.
    Was this the May that was in Carradale?

    Don't know about that Dunard but could well be the case considering the connections, had a K3 when she came and went with a K2, sold to Islay I believe and lost on Post Rocks.
    not sure dunard jt might know but i think lachie clark had her at lobsters in islay after she was sold from tarbert.did well at lobsters and near sure she was lost about islay somewhere.

    Was just wonderin wi all the old yarns of crossing the minch in a screamer, without your neebour and no raft.Probably didnt think bout it then but you wouldna get many to do it nowadays.
