    take it this is a while ago dan?or do you`s still use nylon nets?

    Its is a while ago now mate probably 10 years ago!! A couple of boys still use the nylons for spidering and then shoot them for Creekers when they are on there last legs.

    would have thought dan that at E40 a kilo it would be the other way about -crays first, spiders after. nylon was fishy but hard to work-about 20 yrs since it was used here-we went to multi and now use mono.

    Yes it should really be the other way around, we dont have that many crawfish around really, they got wiped out by the divers 30 years ago and never really made a comeback after that!! Thats why we used them for spidering first because we had tubs and tubs of them and then just shot them over the heads for a few days to finish them off. We used 10 half inch and 12 inch ray nets for the spiders aswell and they fished really quick.

    crays slack here also. they were wiped out here 30yrs ago by nets. we still put up new gear for them (plenty rope about) the sheets arent dear 10.5*10.5 plenty gear and you`ll turn them up some where.
