Built 1968 at Herd and McKenzie ,I think she was the largest ringer built.
To me She is H and M...she has the lean look. Not Nobles..their boats, both yards, always big on the shoulders and she isnt.
Holy isle eh?? Mud that far in??? or was that rocks with muddy patches and hoppers?
Anyway..What a lovely pic. I wish i were young agin!!
Happy Christmas you lot

Built at Nobles, Girvan 1956, then registered as LH39 in 1968. Last seen as pleasure boat berthed in river Medway

she was in the munro family till she was scrapped in the fleet resl scheme 6 yr or more ago homeward bound or some of the elder statemen will confirm

The New Dawn you're thinking about was the previous one deiseljockey.Andy Fairnie from Fisherrow had her.
the one your thinking about dj was the one before this which was new dawn ba 19 built girvan , the number now is on the fair morn ba19 ,
Eddie, Herd/mcK built four of them ringers First one Falcon for Hopeman New Dawn for Dunure I think he built the Fair Morn for Sandy Munro before the Flourish for Hopeman he also built the Heathery Brae which was shorter.
good enough for me willie, hope your well, keep up the good work, will send you a wee message soon
