She was Mariama K when she was closed off from the Fishing Register - someone will have further info on her I'm sure

she gid awa abroad to fish but it wisna a success she was laid up ower there a while then came back here. think there was 2 fowk killed aboard her a few year ago
Yes unfortunately there was one fatality when a crew member (Engineer) - died from carbon monoxide poisoning, 10th June 2006 whilst the boat was in Douarnenez, France. There is an MAIB Report @ http://www.maib.gov....=/mariama-k.pdf
Happened on her way back from Western Africa to the UK. Portable bilge pump gave off the fumes that killed the Engineer and affected 6 other crew members.
