Carradale late 70s early 80s

Golden West along side the fleet at Carradale probably early 80's was a busy harbour then.  I will leave it to those in the know to name the boats.

    brittania came in 94-95 i think....acorn was awa by then.

    is the boat i think madalia actually silver fern and boat outside it the silver bell.looks like her now that i have studied the pic more

    I would say that the red boat was indeed the Silver Fern II and the boat outside is the Crystal Sea. The black boat in the forward tier is the Monarch with Remembrance inside. The Sapphire is sitting forward of the Erica with the larger crane and Lossie Hydraulics power block. Must have been before the head was trasnferred over to the Silver Bell. The tripod in the midst of everthing could have been the Numora or Sea Nymph.
