    good lines on these summers boats  in this pic the wheelhouse is the right proportion to her size and looks good
    what yr was this boat built any of the FR men know

    Built 1950
    Forbes did the new (old) wheelhouse in 1967
    She has a terrific hull shape
    Had only a 3L3 in her but could still tramp along

    She was sold to a guy called Hodgkinson fro the Warrington area in 1967
    Ar that time she was owned by William McDonald Mackay, James Wiseman andagent David Slater & Co ... all of the Broch of the Broch
    As far as I recollect she was built for the Wiseman family

    Correction, she was built in 1954
    aye jay nice lines never thought she was as old must have been well looked after was she always green pastures.

    Swivel, the hull and machinery were in brilliant condition when I bought her
    She still looks well kept, if a bit "overbuilt" with that massive superstructure
    aye summers built a bonnie boat jay willie tar had one similar silver fern not as full on the shoulder as this one a think willie bought her from the broch as well
