is that the 37 ft aurora that was built forbes 64ish? looks bigger than that in the photo.
The late Joe Milnes New Era from Arbroath .Peem Mitchell from FR had the Aurora.
Dod Milne's Oor Lass nearest the camera,then his brother Joe's new Era (both AH lads)then Ackie and Peems Aurora fae Pitulie and the wee yawl on the outside I cannae mind her name but she was at the creels for a wee while...the name Valiant comes to mind,no 100% sure on that one though.Nice photo Ally,around the very late 60s or early 70s maybe.
The Oor Lass was in Johnshaven for a while, the late Francie McBay had her and went to the cod nets and the creels, I think he bought her fae Dod, must have been not long after this photo was taken
She ended up in Brid as the Three Fevers 111,think she got the chop a few years back.
Brings back a lot o, memories this. Nearly every wan had a " hangover" attached to it ........ John

Dod got the Oor Lass from Johnshaven mid 60s and sold her to Brid 79.
There was an Oor Lass in Stonehaven A36 in the mid-late 50s I think she was owned by D Forsythe She was lost after catching fire off Clythness in 1958 and finished up under the lighthouse Does anyone have a photo of her???
