    Interesting technique whatever it is - in a way it looks like a very detailed painting but assume its some sort of 'post production manipulation' - quite unique non the less  :gunsout:

    The way I used to do it is take three images,one underexpose,one overexposed and one bang in the middle,then put them all together.The results are astounding as seen above,not sure if this image is taken in the same way,cannot think it is,as the boat is moving.You can get programmes which change images to HDR,which basically picks oot colours you wouldn't normally see.You can do this in Photoshop,Paintshop Pro,or get this programme,Photomatix Pro,it is specifically designed with HDR and Tone Mapping in mind.
