Dawn Louise INS7 - Brander INS23 - Blue Fin INS31 seen here in a very wet, gray Lossiemouth Harbour (Scotland) on 29th July 2008.

All of the boats are commercial fishing vessels registered in Inverness (Scotland)

Dawn Louise - Year of Construction :  1996 - LOA :  5.33 - Tonnage GT :  1.30 T
Brander - Year of Construction :  1990 - LOA :  5.04 - Tonnage GT :  0.96 T
Blue Fin - Place of Construction :   HAMPSHIRE - Year of Construction :  1992  - LOA :  4.70 - Tonnage GT :  0.72 T

    If they are Registered Commercial Fishing Boats what exactly do they do,how many crew do or can this boat carry?Where do they fish,i dont think they will be able to stay out after dark.

    Hi Michael

    Well they certainly are registered (licensed) fishing boats - I would imagine that they are being used as Potters - Creels, catching lobsters, crabs etc. What I would call 'day boats' - just go out during the daylight hours. As to the number of crew - they can certainly be manged by just one person.
