Before my time sorry lads. Same colour of boat same wheelhouse or similar and can remember getting told about pole.
After 86 Grieve ashore when this was taken, take a guess at 88 or 89,Inky,Michael Gemmel and Sarge
it was horner that bent the pole, thare was some shouting .
Just another normal day with the (sarge).
Happy days Johnnie, hope it was bulk an no a rock or them rockhopper men would get the blame
I am not 100% sure but think I was skippering (Arran Lass) when this was taken,Sarge was good one for shouting c,mon haul away its fine, which now and again ended up in a shouting game and what you see in the picture.Yes happy days right enough John,i enjoyed every minute of them.
Shouting match was more comonly called "family at war syndrome", mind in the old NG bent 2 poles trying to lift 60 boxes of dogs in the one go, now thats what I call a shouting match, among 3 brothers it realy was family at war. Ian the Girl Seona came alongside and lifted the bag no bother, said to us "never mind boys you have a fine pair of davits for lifting a lifeboat there if anyones looking for a pair"
