Eagernoon GY 92

Eagernoon GY 92

just entered Scarborough

Dont know if its just me but seems to have a near flat stem
Aye she does, she was built to beat some rule (think it was under 10m registered length) then lengthened later.
    Hi Will

View of her bow at a more acute angle @ http://superiortrawl.../yorkshire.html

    Drawing @ http://homepage.ntlw...oty/design1.htm

    Regards

    Steve E.
The drawing (the bottom one at least) is of the Holly J (pictured left) completely different design, less freeboard wheelhouse further to port. Handy links though.
Aye that's right Sam but don't you think the bow looks the same design?

    Regards

    Steve E.
Aye I see what you mean though I think that the Holly J's is a bit more pointed than the Eagernoon's but not as pointed as most boats (sure there's a technical term for that), quite a bit of beam for their size these boats. The hull of the Holly J is near identical to that of the Innovator.
she does look a bit flattened wonder if she is a good sea boat as she is holding a lot of bean all the way forward
