Has a fairly odd history this one, has had five names yet only three owners.
Home port's definitely Whitby though she gets about a bit- landing into Shields during the winter (well usually September/October to April/May) while fishing for prawns up there, then landing into Scarborough and sometimes Whitby the rest of the time while fishing at Silver Pit (about 100 miles off Yorkshire/Humber). Think that she was built with the bird on the mast, haven't a clue whether it's of any meaning but it's been there a while.
its a fish not a bird heard skipper asnt a life
So its a fish - well must be time to visit Specsavers for me then

She is quite often seen in the Tyne, indeed is her Home Port not North Shields these days? - I'm always amused by the little cut out of a bird at the top of her mast
