Crystal Waters

Crystal Waters seen here lying in the Port of Peterhead (Scotland) on 28th July 2008.

Appears to have had a Home Port of Banff (Scotland) - any further information would be appreciated

looks like twa new cooncil tennemints built on tap o thon green boatie
Believe she was built as the Gem at Thomson of Buckie. Maybe a Buckieman out there can confirm or deny, and give her number
yes thats correct was built as the gem dont know number then albert watt from macduff bought it and renamed crystalwaters think it was bf 208,,alberts son in law nib then skippered it,till decomissioned, shes now lyiong in mcduff steve geting made into a house boat, was towed up theer about 2 weks ago
Good to hear that she is going to put to good use instead of being scrapped - too many boats being demolished at the moment  8)

    Regards

    Steve E.
Built by Thompsons in Buckie around 1972 as the Gem BCK 213, replaced the Orcades BCK67 which was sold to Mallaig. Nice picture of her getting launched on this site under the 1970's section.
