girl margerite belonged to john gawn from i.o.m sadly sunk in isle o whithorn due to bigger boat lying outside was bought by a stanraer man to turn into houseboat (never happend) met her end in flames at inermessen (couldnt do that nowadays) tree huggers and all that
did this one no lie in girvan for years as well as maidens???

A sin against god what was done to this boat this was one of the bonniest boats you could set eyes on well looked after in Dunure
Misty Isle was also well kept like a new boat when she left Kyleakin nearly 30 year in Kyleakin at the ringnet all that time.

I was 1 of the chaps who bought this vessel, boy had she good lines, unfortunatelly my partner took ill and we couldnt complete works on her, and we had to burn her, quite a dry hull, even after IOW incident, had 240 volvo with 4/1 gearbox for her, but 1 night she sank in stranraer harbour ?, pumped her out took her to shore at innermessan and set her alight, sprung plank in fish hold on port side, just above c/crte ballast line (did some one scuttle her we shall never know)
