    From good old Wikipedia
Le Grand Bleu is one of the largest private yachts in the world at 370 feet (114 metres) in length. It was built at the Vulkan yard in Bremen, Germany, and was launched in 2000. Design and Construction by Kusch Yachts [1]. It was previously owned by John McCaw Jr., an American businessman who sold her to Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich in 2002. Abramovich had it refitted to his own preferences by HDW in Kiel, Germany. This included an internal refit and the addition of a 16ft swim platform.
In June 2006, Abramovich "gave" Le Grand Bleu to friend Eugene Shvidler. Mr. Shvidler maintains ownership of Le Grand Bleu.
Le Grand Bleu is powered by two 3,600-hp Wärtsilä engines. Details about the interiors are scanty as Abramovich is protective of his family's privacy and highly security conscious, but they were designed by Terence Disdale.

I know the first mate on there a Norwegian guy called Siggi, they made there way up from Southampton and are far as I know heading onto cruise Scandinavia.
Suppose the more yachts that come up round the coast might give some of the guys a chance to make a few extra quid selling directly to them as the prices that get charged for stores on these things in beyond belief.
she was at inverness last week
    was in town yesterday

To quote the first mate when i asked him there
"f**k this place, force 8 every day, 11 deg, rain, lobster pots every where and grumpy harbour masters"

Would'nt like to be in the first mate's line of fire when they pulled up the anchor, hope they had a grinder or burning gear handy to get rid of the old trawl wires, at least he would'nt have apres-kipper heartburn even after meeting Master-Bates
    Hi Barry

Telling comment Abramovich "gave" Le Grand Bleu to friend Eugene Shvidler. Mr. Shvidler maintains ownership of Le Grand Bleu.

Wonder why Mr Chelsea would give anything away  ;D

According to Lloyds she is owned by Ashchurch Holdings - Monaco whcih may well be one of Mr Chelsea's many subsidiary companies throughout the globe!
