Cant remember Rikki that was a good few years ago lol
There's some big fish suppers there! What sort of weight would they have been?
the cods on!!! used to get the hands rubbing and the blood racing, never ever caught the bastards right enough, last time i was at them it was 46 boxes for a day and a night and we thought we were the dogs bollocks, the same of other fish, biggest day i ever had skippering my old mans boat, averaged £73 a box i think and i still got a row for waiting till the thursday/friday to get them, if i'd been clever i'd have been getting some all week!!! something like £800 a man from the one landing, never saw hardly a one after that, we were usually round the corner at cod time, i always thought the cod and hake stories from the clyde were all made up, all caught forty years ago.
well av done 16years and never seen a haul of cod yet,,having said that seen more cod this year than i ever have,,,and dumped 99% of them back over the side, fishins never looked so good, onwards and upwards, conservation
