Bernd was a wooden boat built in Denmark in 1944 for German owners, 57ft long & powered by a Modag engine.
My old man bought her from Hartlepool. Her number was SN 104. Her stern was covered in with a steel turtleback.
She was broken up at Torpoint in the early eighties.
