Aye,wee Alec makes a good hopper net right enough.I'm sure Jim Cargill in Stonehaven, the mannie we bought the Seagull off,had this one as the Bonnie Lass some time in the 70s.
Charlie still going to sea in his 70s now  but dont think he can take the credit for teaching Alec never worked together very long.
She could be related to mine then KY seems to have the same nature.

The Wild Rose (the concrete boat he bought off Uncle Pete) was the one he swapped for the Boy Jim PJ.He changed her name to Wild Rose and kept the same number.I stopped getting the Sunday Mail ages ago....redder than a monkey's ar*e yon paper and shi*e all in it....get the Sunday Post now, might be true blue but at least ye get a laugh wi' the Broons and Oor Wullie!

So you'll no no which boat it is if you'll no buy the paper ;)
Now if you could afford the price of a fish supper you could maybe manage to get it as the wrapping
But then again Health and safety perhaps won't allow newspaper incase you ingest the ink
The boat had the wheelhouse more midships than fwd still Wild Rose ?

Just got sent that pic PJ...the red steel boat is the one Roger Gibson the oil man had for a wee while, cannae mind her name though, think she had a Cummins in her.Richard Home took her at one point.Did Roger have her after the Terra Nova and use her for the mail run or was the run defunct by then?
