C & A's , they were there when I left 30 years ago. The shop I mean not C*** and A***
Yes but now departed from the UK shores for many years now - C&A that is. Still trading in Europe though, I remember looking (at the insistence of my Missus I would add) through their stores in Paris and Amsterdam.
I used to buy my shirts from C&A and it took me years to work out the manufacturers label (must have been thick in those days ) - I thought the shirts were from Canada as the label read CANDA - or in other words C&A. As I say, must have been thick in those days!

Paddy starts work on a muddy building site but doesn't have any wellies.
Foreman gives Paddy a spare set of wellies.
Paddy asks why the wellies have L and R written on them.
Foreman explains that L is Left and R is Right.
