Red Seal Rescue

Red Seal Rescue

Red Seal Rescue Rib seen here at Tynemouth Lifeboat Stations Open Day (North East England) on 19th July 2009.

From their web site @ http://webstarter.ea....info/index.php

Red Seal Rescue provides a safety-boat service for any event on or near water requiring boats in attendance for participant and public safety.

Our crews are young people aged 13 upwards.  We provide training to RYA Safety-Boat Standard.

We are probably the only organisation in the UK that not only teaches young people what powerboats are all about, but also provides a public safety service. We teach young people all about RIBs and other boats, safety on water, the sea and many other aspects of providing a safety and rescue service for any event at sea or on inland waterways.

Red Seal Rescue is funded entirely by voluntary contributions.

nice to see some one is finally noticing us steve thanks
    Hi JJ

I assume that you are in the Red Seals - any organisation that provides a means of rescue on the water gets a big  :D from me.

Of course folk may not know this but Red Seal Rescue also assists when their is an inland flood as was seen so recently in Morpeth.

    Regards

    Steve E.
