MV Claytonia was built in 1960. She started out with a 88 Gardner which got replaced by 6 cylinder 110hp gardner. Fished for Lobsters.
painted green and red when at amble
painted blue in killybegs where she made a lot of money .
Theres a Claytonia for sale on FAFB, not sure if its the same one though.
Sounds like the same boat.Somehow I can't see her making 25K without the licence though.
£25k? Not in the current market, no way
Might fetch half that and even so that would be pushing things
Remember, when Shemaron was decommissioned she was put on market at around £12k, if my recall is right, which means she likely went for less than £10k
There are thousands of pleasure craft for sale and prices are tumbling ... and that's not going to change anytime soon

where was this one built
She was built in J & G Forbes Sandhaven, Fraserburgh in 1960. 43 foot 110 gardner engine.
aye thanks for that ob34 she looks good in that one .funny she came up for sale on other site just after you said you would like to see her again.
I thought she had a Jimmy Noble cut about her,and she's in an old almanac as built in Banff...looks like we're both wrong
Once question I had was, is there a site where these old almanac information has been stored? there are amny boats in them that are long gone. I have been trying to source them but with no success. Any ideas.
