    She is a Looe Lugger Kev. Between the 1900's & about 1925 loads were built & used for Pilchard drift netting & long-lining.
    Each Cornish harbour had sailing Luggers with slight variations in design to suit local conditions.
    Those built for East Cornwall (Looe, Polperro, Mevagissey) had transom sterns whereas West Cornwall boats were double enders.
    When engines came along most boats were fitted with two engines both but had both props protruding out the port side to avoid tangling the nets which were hauled midships on the starboard side.
