about to go under the Whitby swing bridge
seems an odd place to drop a wheelhouse?
Aye it is really though I think she was built with it (about 1960 Whitehall Shipyard Whitby). If not then she's had it a long time as I've seen pictures of her in the 60s/70s with it on.

is the engin forid or aft of the wheelhouse ?
Engine is forrad ov the wheelhouse BJ, she's also decked from the wheelhouse forrad. 
don't see many with the wheelhouse midships
Aye it looks arkward, but she's been like that for years, so it must work for them, personally i prefer a dodger, if the wind gets to much when your hauling, you can drop it, canna do that with a wheelhouse marrrrrrrrrrrra.
thinking of getting a wheellhouse so if the wind gets to mutch al get in it and close the door !
