That is Robert Ross's Sunbeam codender, he bought her out of Girvan, 95hp Gardner in her, swan vesta'd in CN 1995 decomm scheme
    cheers for that john,,
a senseless waste of a lot of boats, we could of all had one as sailaboot, instead of the chop!!!!
Lead Us built as the MARSALLI BRD. sold to Portavogie 1952?? renamed GOLD CREAST went to Avoch about 1960.
Just browsing old memories .I'd put it more 60's - Car ferry - think it started latter half of 60's, certainly made a detour for some Highland exhibition latter part of 60's in London( 68/69) ( with local crew) -and the railway is still on "big" pier - thought it went pre 70's .
jist noticed the SUNBEAM is rigged for the prawns,
trawl winch there and looks like a trawl board couped in on port quarter?:idiot2:??
Does anybody know why the INS boats were rigged to fish the port side same as west coast ringers, and not starboard as other east coast boats? I've noticed this on old photos from Whitby as well.
