The Old Man with the "Bonnie Lass" LH 64 coming back in to Dunbar with Edinburgh anglers.I think it was around 15 bob (75p) a head to start with and went up to a pound after a while...not bad value for 8 hours fishing time,AND they got to take what they caught home with them
just a wee bit dearer today i think like the southwesters some of the boys have long time since i have seen one of them.
Just as a wee afterthought Bryan...the wee boat to the left of the bow is the Lesley Jane that "Fuzz" of the Spitfire and Jonah had at the creels before they got the Fruition.They got her from Robert Johnstone's father Peter "Boups",I think she was a naval pinnace/motor boat in her earlier life.Aye,in an angling boat nowadays ye wouldnae get to use the toilet for a pound,never mind a days fishing and a good fry to take home as well !!
